Why to bonitate?
Principle of bonitation is to compare individual dogs with the breed standard, as stated by FCI. The males are bonitated in minimal age of 18 months and females in minimal age of 15 months. Every dog gets judged, measured and tested and receives a bonitation code from the bonitation committee. The dog without faults will have code with marks A, O and P only (e.g. A63 Of P1 - height in withers 63 cm, character optimistic, well balanced, perfect in comparison to standard). Other marks in the code are faults in comparison to the standard. Most important mark is P, this mark is general result of the bonitation and it takes in view not only the look of the dog, but also the result of hip x-ray. The bonitation is practically the most important event in the dog's life, because it decides if he will be selected for breeding. |

PROGRAMMA : 12.00 : Halve kip met frietjes en koude schotel (10€ pp - vooraf inschrijven!) ± 13.00 : Start oefentrials coursing Ierse Wolfshonden ± 13.30 : Start oefentrials coursing Tsjechoslowaakse Wolfhonden ± 15.00 : Mogelijkheid tot coursing met 2 tot 3 honden tegelijk (samen jagen) ± 17.00 : Einde * Eten (vooraf inschrijven) en drinken mogelijk in de kantine van de renbaan. * Muilkorf meebrengen indien nodig. PROGRAMME : 12.00 : Repas, demi poulet avec des pommes frites et des légumes (10€ pp - s'inscrire a l'avance svp !) ± 13.00 : Entraînement coursing Irish Wolfhounds ± 13.30 : Entraînement coursing Chiens Loups Tchécoslovaques ± 15.00 : Possibilité d'essayer le coursing avec 2 ou 3 chiens en meme temps ± 17.00 : Fin * Possiblité de manger (s'inscrire en avant) et de boire a la cantine de la piste. * Amener une museliere si nécessaire. |

What is socialisation
Socialization is the ability of your dog to interact with humans without fear and also understanding how to communicate successfully with other dogs. The process of socialisation of the dog starts the moment the puppy is born and continues practically the whole life of the dog. However, the most important part happens in the first year of the puppy. What is missed during this time can be never fully reversed or improved.
